Index Fixed

I’ve finally gotten the features in the right column operating again. There’s the familiar list of recent comments as well a replacement of the old Index.

I now call it a “Table of Contents,” which is closer to right. It’s really a classification of the substantive posts by category.

If you recall an old series or post, you can look for it by searching through the categories and subcategories. Click on a category, and a list of all the posts in that category will appear in the main window. The list may be so long that there are several pages of results.

Notice that given post may appear in an upper-level category even though there are lower sub-categories. For example, if you click on “Adult Bible Classes,” you’ll get a list of all classes, including those also listed under the subcategories. If you click on a subcategory, you’ll get just those under that category.

Another method of searching for old posts is to use the Search box. And then there’s the most powerful tool of all, Google. To search for every reference to the Septuagint, enter: site: Septuagint.

Finally, the Biblefox features allows you to popup the text of any Bible verse cited. The popup also gives you a list of all posts citing to the same passage. You can click on a post or click on the archives list at the bottom of the popup to load all the posts that refer to the same verse.
