Cageless Birds: “Mount Zion”

We have come to Mount Zion
City of the Living God
Heavenly Jerusalem
By His blood we have come
Thousands of angels dance around the throne
as thousands more sing out new songs
the elders throw their crowns down
as all of Heaven sings out
Worthy is the One Lamb who has overcome
Resurrection love has raised us up again
Worthy is the One Lamb who has overcome
He has conquered death
I will follow Him!

This one has been flying across Facebook.

To my untrained ears, this one sounds suitable for congregational singing a cappella or instrumental.

    Good stuff…certainly refreshing!

  2. Ray Downen says:

I love music, and especially the hymns we’ve sung through the years. This chanting is not suitable for congregational singing. There’s no melody and no harmony. It frankly is just yelling.

  3. Johnny says:

that is beautiful, almost like a prayer, I would love to sing it, I like it much better than some of the OLD stuff written 75 years ago.

  4. Vijeta Peter says:

A song that literally urges ur heart to sing out praises to the most high God! Beautifully performed vi
