My name is Jay Guin, and I’m a retired elder. I wrote The Holy Spirit and Revolutionary Grace about 18 years ago. I’ve spoken at the Pepperdine, Lipscomb, ACU, Harding, and Tulsa lectureships and at ElderLink. My wife’s name is Denise, and I have four sons, Chris, Jonathan, Tyler, and Philip. I have two grandchildren. And I practice law.

    I’m not really a big MJ fan, but I’ve been surprisingly impressed by some covers of his songs, such as David Cook’s version of Billie Jean from last year’s American Idol contest. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_g4KgSbhcJc&feature=related

    I like the covers much better than the originals.

    I admit that I was an MJ fan back in 1985 that was before he tried to turn white and all that stuff back then we skated at the skating rink to his hits along with Jon Bonjovi and Ghostbusters those were some good times.
