Shout out to Lowe’s
I just have to mention that Lowe’s stayed open late Wednesday night after the tornado, which struck between 5:00 and 5:30 PM Wednesday (less than a mile away from the store!), and already had extra recovery supplies on hand, and extra shipments being trucked in the next day.
They were running on generator power, and the next day they had extra personnel on hand to quickly provide generators, tarps, chainsaws, and other recovery supplies.
Yes, I’m sure they made a huge profit. But they didn’t price gouge — and anyone with the foresight to be that prepared deserves to make a profit. People needed those supplies. You just have to appreciate and admire that level of response.
