On Hiatus

I’m taking a break. Not real long, but I’ve got stuff to tend to. Got lots of posts in my head but not enough time to get them out. Just need to take a few days without posting much of anything.

  2. Well, thank goodness I’ve finally found something I can do better than Jay Guin: take a blogging hiatus. Mine are usually significantly longer than his.

    Keith, Keith, Keith …

Can’t you tell that the pace of my posting has reduced? I posted nothing at all 9/22 and 9/26! That’s two whole days. Moreover, I’m making myself not care … even a little. I’m usually posting several days ahead, and now I have nothing written for tomorrow at all. Will I post something? I don’t know.

So call this a hiatus of attitude. I’ve removed the pressure to post daily and so only post when I’m in the mood — although usually I’m in the mood to post two weeks ahead. But we’re in the midst of a preacher search, I’ve been fighting these (*#($_#*)$*)@#*$ kidney stones, my back has been hurting, there’s football to watch, a possible national championship even … so I’m hiatusing by only writing when I feel the urge, have time, and don’t hurt too much. And for some reason, hermeneutics seems to be an exciting topic to me lately — not that I’m forgetting the incomplete series out there. I’ll finish them, you know, sometime.

Meanwhile, the stone seems to have passed (but sometimes the devils fool you), my back is feeling better, and … well, the preacher search is still ongoing.
