I’m experimenting with a new WordPress theme, that is, a new look for the blog. You see, WordPress updated their software, and now the old theme isn’t compatible. Ughh …
So this is the new look. Let me know what you think or how it might be better — not that I can necessarily do much about any complaints, giving my severely limited programming skills.
If this wins reader approval, I need someone with rudimentary graphics skills to help fix my banner. It’s not complicated — for someone who knows what they’re doing.
Can you give the new site more color contrast? Send me the banner or banner parts (if it uses multiple images) and the sizes they need to be (if you know them) and I will photoshop them for you.
Your “ughh” just cracked me up! LOL I think you are the first man I saw use it. Kind of cool! Sorry, I don’t have an opinion about the graphics and such…as long as I can read it and it works. :/
Jay,
The font seems really really big… can you make it smaller, like in the past? I’m just trying to give some feedback 🙂
HG,
I changed the theme (I only have two choices available right now) and it solved my banner problem. If anyone knows how to code php, maybe the font size could be reduced. But it’s way beyond me.
HG,
As my aim is nothing but the viewing pleasure of my readers, you’ll now find a Font Size change feature in the righthand column. Pick whatever size suits your eyes.
Jay,
The font size change is a blessing to me, an old one eyed man.
I would just like the type darker because it reflects back.
Thanks for all the thought and considerations with this site.
Very Thoughtful!!!!
John
I like it…
Can’t anyone around here hold true to the old paths? Now, Jay has drifted into some innovation that is not even compatible to that format which we tried and found faithful lo these many years.
Now I am going back to my original version of Space Invaders. The one Paul played.
Alabama John,
Sorry, but I know of no way to transfer color control to the user.
Charles,
Next time you’re on dial up, we can play Pong over the internet.
Ala John,
In any webpage in Internet Explorer, you can change font size with Ctl+ or Ctl-. The changes won’t be remembered, but you can adjust as you go without the need for a special button. But my button should make the change at OneInJesus permanent until you change it yourself — unless you have cookies blocked.
