The Quincy Community Church is a Boston-area church plant by a group of former Harding students. And usually I’d be talking about their church planting effort. But today, it’s about their blog.
There are 50,000,000,000,000,000 blogs on the Internet, give or take. And even though most of the blogs aren’t very good, there are still a kazillion, more or less, excellent blogs. How do you decide which ones to read?
Well, there are even too many excellent theological blogs with Church of Christ roots to read them all. So you have to pick the ones with something truly special. And the Quincy Community Church blog has not only deep, profound theological thought, it has cartoons. And they help make the points.
Indeed, they’ve been a roll lately. You could take any one of their recent posts and teach a great adult or high school Bible class or small group lesson (not all material is suitable for teens).
Full disclosure: One of those cartoonists is my oldest son.
(And who doesn’t love hippopotamuses juggling penguins? And what could that possibly mean?)
I like it, Jay. Thanks for heads up.
