Comments, Bursitis, Etc.

For some reason, the commenting part of my site is down. If you enter a comment, it appears to be accepted, but for some unknown reason, disappears into the Internet ether. My webhosting service is working on the problem.

I think it has something to do with Texas A&M’s defeat of Alabama. Obviously, the laws of nature are somewhat askew. I mean, Johnny Football clearly is not constrained by the laws of physics. We live in very strange times.

I’m back from Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Denise and I were just blown away by this town. It has fewer than 6,000 residents, but is the home of Bucknell University (Go Bisons!).

It sits on the banks of the Susquehanna River (which looks to have been placed there by a landscape artist), and the downtown is filled with attractive shops and marvelous restaurants. It seems to be a truly idyllic community.

I met with an orthopedic surgeon, who used sonic shock waves to create microscopic fissures in the exquisitely painful tendons in the my hip, the plan being to trigger the formation of new blood vessels, bringing healing blood flow. The procedure has an 83% success rate, but it’ll be a while before I realize the benefit. Please be in prayer that I heal pain free over the next few weeks.
