Free Books from Logos

logoshomepageThere’s a Facebook group dedicated to letting you know about free books from Logos and its affiliated FaithLife companies.

Some of the books are old, out-of-copyright books by long-forgotten authors. But plenty are books on my wishlist. So pay attention and get free stuff — if you are a Logos user. And if you pick up a few books that are part of a set, if you later buy the set, you get credit for already owning part of the set (even though you paid nothing for it).

  1. Zondervan Exegetical Commentaries on the New Testament (ZECNT) are on sale at Logos for $9.99 each, which is about 70% off the regular price.

Galatians (Schreiner), Colossians (Pao), and James (Kamell & Blomberg) are highly regarded.

  2. Logos sale through 10 August on the New Studies in Biblical Theology series. Individual titles are $9.99.

    Some look pretty interesting:
-“‘Return To Me’: A Biblical Theology of Repentance” by Mark Boda
-“Contagious Holiness: Jesus’ Meals with Sinners” by Craig Blomberg
-“Father, Son and Spirit: The Trinity and John’s Gospel” by Andreas Köstenberger
-“The Temple and the Church’s Mission: A Biblical Theology of the Dwelling Place of God” by GK. Beale (I have this in paperback but haven’t read it yet).
-“Covenant and Commandment: Works, Obedience and Faithfulness in the Christian Life” by Bradley Green
